Honda Electric Cars Soon Launching in Indonesia
Honda electric cars are set to hit the roads in Indonesia soon, as confirmed by Yusak Billy, Sales and Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM). This new addition to the brand’s lineup is a clear reflection of Honda’s commitment to the growing trend of electrification in the country. In addition to electric cars, Honda will also introduce hybrid models to complement their existing lineup.
One of Honda’s popular products in Indonesia is the Prelude, which has already received 270 unit bookings. This positive reception is seen as a success amidst the high demand for electrified vehicles. This strategy not only reinforces Honda’s commitment to environmentally friendly mobility but also caters to the trend of low-emission vehicles in Indonesia.
The newly launched Honda electric car in Indonesia is the eN:1, bearing a similar resemblance to the HR-V. This model is being marketed through a subscription scheme, a first for fleet consumers in the country. As for hybrid models, Honda offers a range of options in Indonesia, including the CR-V e:HEV, HR-V e:HEV, Civic RS e:HEV, Accord e:HEV, and Step WGN e:HEV.
With Honda’s foray into electric and hybrid vehicles, the brand is poised to make a significant impact on the Indonesian automotive market, catering to the increasing demand for more sustainable and eco-friendly transportation options.
