Indonesia has made a significant milestone in the world of racing by sending a team to the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup 2026 through Team Niti Racing. This has added to the intense competition in the event, despite the presence of other experienced teams such as Saddlemen Race Development (USA), Cecchini Racing Garage (Italy), and Joe Rascal Racing (Australia).

The presence of Niti Racing at the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup 2026 marks Indonesia’s debut in the MotoGP arena, as the series of big motorcycle racing events with sidecars will be a supporting race at several MotoGP events throughout the year. According to Jeffrey Schuessler, Global Director of Racing Programs at Harley-Davidson, the addition of Niti Racing and the approval of a third rider for Joe Rascal Racing have strengthened the competition with four teams and nine riders in the provisional lineup for the first year, with ongoing discussions involving additional teams.

The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup 2026 will take place in the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Aragon (Spain), and Austria. The racing format will include FP1 and FP2 sessions on Friday, qualifying sessions and the first race on Saturday afternoon, and the second race on Sunday morning or afternoon.

The racing motorcycles used in the competition are built on the Grand America Touring HD platform, modified by HD Factory Racing to be competition-specific machines. They feature a modified Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin 131R engine, custom-designed chassis, suspension, braking system, and electronic package, extensive weight reduction, aerodynamic development, and performance levels exceeding 200 hp with a top speed of up to 300 km/h.
